These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Play My Song platform, including the website playmysong.dance and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service in any capacity — as a venue visitor, DJ, manager, or administrator — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Play My Song is operated as a software platform that facilitates song requests between venue visitors and DJs. We are not a music service, record label, or entertainment agency.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Play My Song. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
DJ and Manager accounts are intended for use by adults (18+) operating in a professional or semi-professional capacity at live music venues.
Visitor accounts are created using a valid U.S. mobile phone number. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive a one-time SMS verification code (OTP) to confirm your identity. Standard message and data rates may apply.
The Service allows venue visitors to submit song requests to a DJ at a live event. By submitting a request, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Certain features of the Service require the purchase of request credits. Current pricing is as follows:

Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable (except as required by applicable law), and expire at the end of the nightly session in which they were purchased. Credits do not carry over to future sessions.
Prices are subject to change. The venue operator or DJ may offer different pricing or free requests at their discretion. Any such changes will be reflected in the platform at the time of purchase.
The Service provides an optional tipping feature that allows visitors to send gratuities directly to the DJ. Tips are processed through third-party peer-to-peer payment platforms (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal) or via Stripe. By sending a tip, you acknowledge:
All purchases of request credits made via credit card are processed by Stripe, Inc. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Refund Policy: Request credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction at support@playmysong.dance.
The Service includes an optional photo wall feature where visitors may upload photos for display at the venue. By uploading a photo, you:
Play My Song and venue operators reserve the right to remove any photo at any time without notice.
The platform includes a chat feature enabling communication between visitors, DJs, and managers. All chat messages are logged as part of the platform's audit trail and may be reviewed by venue managers and administrators. By using the chat feature, you agree not to send:
Play My Song reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.
DJs and managers who register on the platform agree to use the Service solely for its intended purpose of managing live event song requests. DJs and managers are responsible for:
The platform operates on a nightly session model. Each session represents a single event night. At the end of each session, the active request queue is closed. Historical session data is retained by Play My Song for management analytics, audit, and dispute resolution purposes. Visitor payment history and request history are retained in visitor profiles across sessions.

The Play My Song platform, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by or licensed to Play My Song. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the platform beyond the limited right to use it as described herein.
Song titles, artist names, and music referenced through the platform are the intellectual property of their respective owners. Play My Song does not claim ownership of any music content and does not facilitate unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted music.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Twilio (SMS), Stripe (payments), Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, Spotify, Serato, Rekordbox, VirtualDJ, and Traktor. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Play My Song is not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PLAY MY SONG AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Play My Song and its operators, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
